Alec Goldfarb (guitar) plays in Hayoung Lyou's quartet -- at the Jazz Gallery, Feb 26 (Wed), 2025

Hayoung Lyou, jazz pianist and composer based in New York, will be playing at the Jazz Gallery, Feb 26. She will lead her band with Alec Goldfarb, Seajun Kwon, and Steven Crammer.

I'd introduce Alec Goldfarb a bit in this post. He is such an extraordinary jazz guitarist. His microtonal guitar playing is really a top notch, putting himself a perfect spot in a band, sometime with classical instrument, other times in a jazz setup.

And that's not it -- I'm far from an expert but he is an amazing Raag musician. As of now - 2025 Feb - He is touring in India for a month playing with Hindi musicians!
